What is the Church of Christ?

The Church of Christ, as described in the New Testament, is a group of people who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles. The New Testament records how the early Christians came together to worship, study the scriptures, and help each other.

Here are some key points about the Church of Christ in the New Testament:

  1. Followers of Jesus: The people in the Church of Christ believe in Jesus as their Savior and try to live their lives according to His teachings.
  2. Community of Believers: It's like a big family of believers who support and care for each other. They meet regularly to pray, sing, and learn from the Bible.
  3. Baptism: Baptism, which means being immersed in water, was commanded by Jesus in order to be saved-Mark 16:16.  Those who are baptized are added to the church by the Lord Himself-Acts 2:38, 47.
  4. Worship: In the New Testament, you can read about how they worshipped by singing hymns, praying, giving back to God as we have been prospered, and taking part in the Lord's Supper, which reminds them of Jesus' sacrifice.
  5. Leadership: The Church of Christ in the New Testament had leaders called elders and special servants called deacons who helped guide and take care of the congregation.
  6. Spreading the Gospel: They believed in sharing the good news about Jesus with others and helping people become followers of Christ.
  7. Love and Unity: The New Testament teaches that the Church should be a place of love, forgiveness, and unity, where people work together to follow Jesus.

Adult Bible Class

Whether you're a seasoned Bible scholar or new to the teachings of the Bible, you'll find a welcoming and enriching environment here. Our goal is to explore the Bible's timeless wisdom, engage in meaningful discussions, and deepen our spiritual understanding. Join us on this exciting journey as we uncover the treasures of God's Word and seek to apply its lessons to our lives.

Children's Bible Class

Cradle Roll (6 months to 2 years):

Welcome to our Cradle Roll Bible Class, where our youngest ones are introduced to the wonderful stories and teachings of the Bible through gentle and engaging activities. We create a loving and nurturing environment to plant the seeds of faith at the earliest age, helping our littlest ones begin their journey of discovering God's love.


2-3 Year-Old Class:

In our 2-3 Year-Old Bible Class, we embark on a joyful exploration of Bible stories through simple, interactive lessons and creative play. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun space for toddlers to start building a strong foundation of faith.


4-5 Year-Old Class:

In the 4-5 Year-Old Bible Class, we take exciting steps in understanding the Bible. Through age-appropriate stories, crafts, and activities, we help our preschoolers discover the beauty of God's Word and learn valuable lessons that will stay with them as they grow.


1st - 2nd Grade Class:

Welcome to our 1st - 2nd Grade Bible Class, where children begin to dive deeper into the Bible's stories and teachings. We create an interactive and engaging environment to help them explore the Bible, ask questions, and build a strong, lasting faith foundation.


3rd - 4th Grade Class:

In our 3rd - 4th Grade Bible Class, children take another step in their biblical journey. Through discussions, activities, and age-appropriate materials, we help them connect with the Bible's wisdom and learn how to apply it in their everyday lives.


Teens Class:

Our Teens Bible Class is designed to address the unique questions and challenges that adolescents face. In a supportive and encouraging environment, we explore relevant topics from the Bible, equipping teens with a solid understanding of their faith and helping them navigate the teenage years with grace and wisdom.


At our church, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of children and teens at every stage of their development. Our Bible classes aim to make learning about God's love and teachings a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all age groups.


This quarter, our children will be focusing on Jesus' Works & Words. We will dive into the New Testament to learn more.


The four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—tell the story of Jesus Christ’s life, ministry, death, and resurrection.


  • Matthew was written to a Jewish audience and emphasizes Jesus as the promised Messiah, fulfilling Old Testament prophecy.
  • Mark is the shortest Gospel and focuses on Jesus’ miracles and actions, showing Him as a servant who came to save.
  • Luke gives a detailed and orderly account of Jesus’ life, highlighting His compassion for all people, especially the poor and outcasts.
  • John is different from the other three, focusing on Jesus’ divine nature as the Son of God and the way to eternal life.


Together, these books give us a complete picture of Jesus and His mission to bring salvation to the world.

Meet Our Elders

  3. Teaching and Shepherding: Elders are often involved in teaching and shepherding the members of the church. They provide spiritual guidance, support, and care to the flock, helping them grow in their faith.
  4. Qualifications: The New Testament outlines specific qualifications for Elders, including moral character, a good reputation, being faithful to their spouse, and being able to teach and manage their own households well (see 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9).
